The history of Italian chocolate Caffarel goes back almost 200 years. The famous Gianduiotto chocolates in the shape of ingots, made from chocolate paste with grated roasted hazelnuts, are considered to be Caffarel’s own invention. In addition, Caffarel was the first in the world to wrap candies in individual wrappers.
