Chiostro di Saronno – incredibly aromatic and delicious premium biscuits, amaretto and panettone prepared according to authentic traditional Italian recipes from the 18th century!

According to the legend, Amaretti recipe was born in 1718, when the Cardinal of Milan unexpectedly visited the town of Saronno. To honor him, two young lovers, quickly baked a mixture of sugar, apricot kernels and egg whites, creating new cookie which they called Amaretti (Italian for a bit bitter). Amaretti Chiostro di Saronno are still baked according to the traditional recipe with only three ingredients: sugar, egg white and apricot kernels.
